WFEO Institute

WFEO Institute is a flagship mechanism that will advance the WFEO Strategic Plan Outcomes on informed decision‑making, strengthened education and enhanced capacity for sustainable development.

The WFEO Institute aims to strengthen the engineering profession’s capacity to address global issues such as climate change, digital transformation, sustainability, disaster resilience, systems thinking, ethics, and leadership, in line with WFEO’s Strategic Plan and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Building on the experience of the WFEO Academy and related capacity‑building initiatives, the Institute will offer learning and advisory services that integrate technical, policy and leadership dimensions and that are aligned with STEM and sustainability priorities, developed in partnership with UNESCO, UNU, international organizations, universities and WFEO members.

WFEO Institute will develop and deliver internationally recognized certification and training programmes that strengthen engineering competence, support the global mobility of engineering professionals, and promote high standards of ethical and professional practice worldwide.
