The WFEO Committee for Education in Engineering and the Myanmar Engineering Council successfully hosted the “International Conference on Engineering Education Accreditation (ICEEA 2025)” in virtual format on 30 and 31 July 2025, in Myanmar, with the theme “Shaping Our Sustainable Future Through Engineering”.

This important event has been held annually since 2021, with the objective is to harness the full potential of engineering through collaboration and knowledge sharing. The event featured engineering educators and leaders from around the world.
The opening address was given by Emeritus Prof. Dr. Charlie Than, Patron, Myanmar Engineering Council and Union Minister for Industry.
