Moez Chakchouk, an engineer by training and holder of a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, has held prominent leadership positions within the Tunisian Government, including Minister of Transport and Logistics, Chairman and CEO of the Tunisian Post, and head of the Tunisian Internet Agency.

He also served as Assistant Director-General for Communication and Information at UNESCO (2018-2020), where he contributed in advancing policies on digital transformation, access to information, and innovation for sustainable development.

Mr. Chakchouk became WFEO Executive Director on January 1, 2026.
